Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale: Perhaps the most beautiful car ever built. And one of the most unusual ones too, there are possibly four Tipo 33:s left today. This picture, with former Formula 1 driver Sam Posey behind the wheel, opened a story in the American magazine Road & Track www.roadandtrack.com

V as in very vicious. The powerful redlight racer Yamaha V-Max has become a classic and remains the favourite motorcycle of quite a few people. The magazine Classic bike sent Roger to Uppsala, a town about 100 km north of Stockholm to meet eight bikers with their hearts shape like a V. The pictures were taken in an outdoor studio, which was built on location. plats. www.classicbike.se

Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina. Italian emotion and the shape and form of one of the most amazing automotive designs (of course by Ferraris long time design partner Pininfarina) made this picture for American magazine Road & Track one of Rogers favourites of all times. A few more details spiced up that emotion even more: The images were captured on a short stretch of road (about 600 yards) in a national park at Long Island, just outside New York. The driver was also the owner, a New York-lawyer. www.roadandtrack.com

Giant german javelin. With about 476 horsepower under the hood Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG is without a doubt one of the meanest machines to ever emerge from the Mercedes factory. This is very far from a tired old diesel cab with park bench feeling to the seats. This is lust and luxury and a lot of …. money. The pictures were taken for Swedish car magazine Teknikens Värld and the car was driven by a local rally driver who knew how to slide the car through the negative banking turns where the light was falling in at the right angle. (Thanks Peter). www.teknikensvarld.se

Analog in the morning. Early morning light brings a special feeling to pictures. Real film adds yet more feeling to it, and this without any digital manipulation in Photoshop. The car is a BMW M3 CSL at Anderstorp Raceway. At the time of shooting it was rolling gently along at about 3 km/h. The car was not actually driven but rather pushed by the staff at the Teknikens Värld magazine, who had just barely gotten out of bed. www.teknikensvarld.se

Competent Californian Corvette. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 shot in parking lot at Sepulveda Boulevard Los Angeles for Swedish car magazine Sportbilen.. The blue smoke works great in the California evening light. Sportbilen

Cold, wet and dirty. The pictures in German motorcycle magazine Motorrad was taken during the endurance race Gotland Grand National, where both professional and amateur riders competed in one of the toughest and dirtiest races in the world. Even the photographer was on a bike, simply because it was the easiest way to get through the mud. www.motorradonline.de/

Bugatti. Type 37. Enough said. Cars had less appealing names in the past. But Bugatti Type 37 is arguably one of the most appealing cars ever. It was sports car, aimed at people who could afford it, hade the courage and loved the state-of-the-art technology of the time. Sweden's prince Bertil was one of them. The car in the picture had been restored by the owner for a period of fifteen years. But he never hesitated to bring it out in the pouring rain for the shoot in the southernmost part of Sweden. www.automotorsport.se
